I’ve
spent more than four decades in the automobile industry, beginning at
my family’s dealership in Longview, Texas. My father opened the
dealership 44 years ago, and at seven years old my first job was picking
up cigarette butts on the lot. Over time, I moved into the shop,
learned mechanics, and eventually gained the experience to manage and
operate a successful dealership. I purchased the business from my father
25 years ago and have continued to lead it with a focus on integrity,
customer service, and long-term relationships. During that time, my
longtime friend and business partner, Robert Buffington, has spent
nearly 30 years in the ambulance and emergency-vehicle industry. I’ve
always been fascinated by his work, and after decades in the auto
business, I’m ready for a new challenge. Moving into emergency vehicles
gives me the chance to work with products that genuinely make a
difference while still applying the mechanical knowledge, service
standards, and operational experience I’ve built over a lifetime. Robert
understands exactly what customers need in an ambulance, and he has
developed what many operators consider the perfect design. Together, we
combine his deep experience in emergency vehicles with my background in
managing and delivering a top-tier dealership experience. It’s a
partnership built on experience, trust, and a shared commitment to
building vehicles that truly serve the people who rely on them.
